CheckSystem
CheckSystem (formally known as CheckSpace) is a monitoring tool for Win 9x, NT, 2000, XP and 2003 computers and servers. The key features of the product are:

Disk and partition monitor
With the disk and partition monitor you can control every
hard disk or network drive. If the available free space fall under a limit, CheckSystem sends a warn e-mail with detailed information.
Directory monitor (disk quota)
The directory monitor controls the size of every local or network directory. If the directory size grows over a
limit, CheckSystem sends a warn e-mail with detailed information. By that feature, CheckSystem can used as
a disk quota program.
NT, 2000, XP event log monitor
With the NT, 2000, XP event log monitor you can catch the event log messages. If new entries are written in
the log, with CheckSystem you’ll get them by mail.
Dr. Watson monitor
This monitor catches Dr. Watson events. If a Dr. Watson error occur, CheckSystem sends you a detailed
error report with all information. That helps you to locate the problem and prevent it for the future.
Application monitor
With the application monitor you can control every program or application. You can check if a program is
running and if so, it is possible to terminate it. Thus, you can control what programs are running. If the application doesn’t run, it can be started.
CPU monitor With the CPU monitor you can control the usage of your CPUs and perform an action when it breaks a limit. I.e. CheckSystem can terminate crashed applications, which takes 99% CPU usage.
System service monitor
With the service monitor you can control if a Windows NT/2000 system service is running or not. If it running CheckSystem can stop it. If it doesn't running CheckSystem can start the service.
File monitor The file monitor informs you if one or all of the properties file size, last access or last write have or have not been changed.
Http monitor The http monitor checks if a web site is on or off error. If the site is on error CheckSystem sends you an e-mail with the error
description.
TCP/IP connection monitor With help of TCP/IP connection monitor, you can check if a
specified computer is available in or outside your network (i.e. your webserver).
Running as system service
On Windows NT, 2000 and XP machines, CheckSystem runs a system service. That means, it runs without a
user must be logged on.
Html Report Engine
The html report engine, summarizes all CheckSystem monitors and warnings in a single tidy and clearly
arranged html file.
All monitors have a single e-mail notification. With that and the Mail-To-SMS gateway of your provider, CheckSystem can send all warnings on your cellphone. Because of these and all the other functions, CheckSystem is the ideal tool for system administrators who need to be kept informed about their systems.
